Scrolling through the list, some big names like Chris McCormack – 2007 IM Champion, Terenzo Bozzone, reigning IM 70.3 Champion, others such as Cameron Brown, Emma Bishop, Bree Wee.

Seeing such big names, it feels like joining a basketball league with Kobe Bryant and LeBron James playing. Or maybe it’s how Angola felt while playing against the Dream Team of Michael Jordan.

Aside from 399 individual competitors, there are 49 relay teams, which include the likes of Olympic swimmer Akiko Thompson, running coach Rio “Runrio” dela Cruz, Padyak Pinoy champion Santy Barnachea.
